For some reason, I had an intuitive feeling to go BACK to Casablanca when I arrived in the Marrakech bus station. My intuition said, "Go back home to your boyfriend and go be with him." "Why are you going to Marrakech by yourself?" "Is it for your pleasure or to just to escape?" Mr. Casa had asked to go to Marrakech in the beginning of our meeting, but I declined. Why could I not wait for a better time for us to go TOGETHER?
When we do not listen to our intution, we sometimes get some rude awakenings, consequences, results, wake up calls, etc... I had left the train station and met my host where we went into a taxi to go to his family's home. I jumped out of the taxi with my bag and then realized I left my phone in the car-too late phone was gone. I did not listen to my intution and my phone went missing and my relationship also went missing as well......
After this trip to Marrakech, I realized just how much I cared for this man, but I also realized that I went to Marrakech by myself-not with Mr. Casa. If he really wanted and cared to take me, he would have-reality of the relationship. This also made me think about if I wanted to be in the "single" but "boyfriend" relationship- being with someone while having an independent relationship with myself i.e. going out and doing everything alone or with friends. Could a relationship like this work? Could we find a balance? Should we stay together or was it time for us to go our separate ways......
